Whether driving or studying, this album will calm you, as you listen to the slow serenade. Yes, it is the full length album soundtrack to the entire movie of Howl's Moving Castle and it sounds just as good--better even--than it did in the movie. A great buy if you liked the movie! :]

Such a great CD to listen to when doing homework, it isn't too distracting, so you can study and still listen to it at the same time. I often study for tests listening to this, I just absolutely love the movie and the music is just one of the great things about it. ^_^

Gorgeous series of variations upon a theme, which is introduced in the first track, alternate themes weaving through to make a vivid and occasionally very moving aural tapestry. (These alternates are given a fuller platform in the Image Album, which is also very much worth notice.) The main theme is familiar to all who saw the trailer as the magical and lovely waltz by which Sophie and Howl walk the sky early in the film. I find myself turning to this soundtrack, composed Miyazaki-favorite by Joe Hisaishi, more often than any other, anime or otherwise. If you loved the film, you will love the OST just as much, as hearing it will bring each scene clearly to mind. This CD is AWESOME!!! There are 26 tracks in all, 25 backgrond music tracks and 1 vocal track. The vocal track is the ending theme, the others are all from various parts of the movie. I looove song #3, its where Sophie meets Howl in the beginngin of the movie!!! Buy this CD if you loved the music from the movie and favor beautiful piano music!!!
