This anime is so good, it got two or three movies, and a video game, and it was based on a classic manga by Rumiko Takahashi. The title for this DVD is rather sketchy though, Inu Yasa and Kagome are definetly not friends, but none the less, if you're not sure 'bout buying or seeing this DVD, watch Adult Swim on Cartoon Network at 12:30 at night. I love this show, it's my third favorite anime ever. 3. Inu Yasha 2. Trigun 1. Cowboy Bebop P.S. You gotta admit, Kagome is freakin' irresistable!

I didn't really care much for the Yura of Hair episode since I didn't really like her, but you begin to see the budding relationship that Inuyasha develops with Kagome. At this point in the beginning series, the firecrackers grow longer fuses now and then with lots of humor and familiar situations that would get you rolling and possibly rewinding to play it over again. Believe me though, things really get good.

Inu Yasha DVD 2 is awesome! If you thought the first dvd was good this one is even better! With the introduction of Sesshomaru, Inu Yasha's brother, the plot thickens even more. The only complaint I have with the dvd's in general is the awful, hideous dubbing...(gag)...(yuck!)and the lack of extras. Other than that the dvd's are very good. Can't wait for DVD 3!

I was never going to buy these DVDs. The cost-episode ratio is pretty bad considering the amount of episodes per DVD. But, I caved. The series is too good to pass up. I guess 20 bucks a month isn't that bad, but they could do better. These episodes end Yura of the Hair's appearance, and introduce Sesshomaru. In other words, yes, the cost would make it a ripoff if it was any other series, but Inuyasha is well worth it.

Check Inu Yasha DVD Vol. 01 for my first Review. Don't need to repeat again. For new comers...hang in there and gather a lot of money. The series may start a little bit slow, but picks up quickly. Inu Yasha Series has about 95 episodes to this date. 12/25/02 You would think it will get boring, after 30 episodes or so but, there are a lot of conflicts and the story gets thicker. Inu Yasha even has a movie titled “The love that transcends time.”(Rough Translation) The movie has a few spoilers, but not much. If you don’t like surprise spoilers, you should wait until you watched up to episode 55 or so in the TV series. I wish they would put more then 3 episodes in 1 DVD. But, true fan will find ways to buy the whole series and not settle for copies. In addition, the prices at Anime Castle are very good, one of the best I’ve seen. Sun-Coast or any other retailers charge ~27.00+ and usually carry a limited supply.
