Ranma 1/2 is an equal blend of romance, action, and comedy; often all three together. A broad cast of unusual characters, each with his/her own foibles, makes this series continually fun to watch despite its age. From the author of Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, and Inu Yasha.

Ranma ½ was cancelled after just one season (due to poor ratings) and taken off the air to be retooled. It was relaunched the next year as Ranma ½ Nettouhen after a few staff changes. That being said, this is one of the best cancelled series I've ever seen.
