Most amazing album. From the moment you start playing it your drawn into the music. The emotions are very heavy. Obscure was the first Dir En Grey song I ever heard. The CD is a must for any Dir En Grey fan. Kasumi and Amber are completely beautiful songs. All the songs are amazing. Kyo's talent is truly shown in this album.

Alright, since all there's been is fanatics, I'd like to give my low down on this CD, Vulgar. First off, when I bought it, I had only heard the songs Obscure, Child Prey, and Amber, the last 3 tracks. I popped it in and it hit me. The ENTIRE cd is filled with nonstop emotions, and that's a point that's really missed. Just put it on, close your eyes, lay down on your bed, and listen to songs like The IIId Empire or Kasumi. They're REALLY deep, and it shows. I give it a four and of five, because of Child Prey being sung in english (I know it was suppose to mean something, but still, it was BAD. Couldn't understand a word of it). Besides that, it's got great vocals, great sound (I really liked the bass in this. Totchi is great) and pretty good lyrics, but I would recommend getting Kisou first. -Signed, Calsipher

Dir en Grey has to be one of my all-time favorite J-Rock groups, and I love all of their CDs. Vulgar is no exception. Any Dir en Grey fan will have to add this to their collection. Vulgar's a lot more hardcore than their previous albums, but it's good nonetheless. But I have to point out that all the songs sound the same. Sometimes I can't tell when one song ends and another begins. It takes many rounds of listening before you can tell one song from another. Some of my favorite songs from this album are "shokubeni", "ashita naki koufuku, koshou naki ashita", "audience KILLER LOOP", and "kasumi". You definetely have to buy this thing.
