Imadoki is by Yuu Watase. If you're familiar with her other works such as Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres, you'll be kinda surprised by this title. The melodrama is kept at realistic levels, and there are no fantastical elements to the story at all. It's simply a tale of a girl and her trials, triumphs, and her maturation during her first year of high school. A cute, romantic comedy that's worth picking up if you're into that genre.

if you like romances and/or stories by Yu Watase then you would enjoy this series. The one thing I would suggest though is dont read this while you read other books by Yu Watase (especially Alice 19th) otherwise you might get the characters confused seeing how they look pretty close--but otherwise its worth getting the series
