This is an incredible incredible awesome series. The animation is unique and refreshing after being boggled with annoying typical anime. You will find no whinny voices for minature body/big head characters here and there is a plot with considerable substance. While it is not all historically accurate (it's a show), it does follow Alexander's life pretty well. The characters are all drawn amazingly. I highly recomment this, but be weary of the OT rating

Wow. I was originally intrigued by this series because I had been previously addicted to Aeon Flux (it was on MTV a while back, and was animated by the same studio). I'm even more addicted to Reign. The animation has matured (the people look much more human in Reign than in Aeon Flux), and Reign has a plot I can actually follow (though the absence of plot in Aeon Flux may have been due to MTV's habit of showing the episodes at random..). I Personally love the style of the animation, though it might take some time for some to get used to it. Its also easier to deal with the exaggerated character designs if you focus more on their faces than the rest of their bodies.

Let me see.... I really didn't think ANY anime could be worse than Ronin Warriors, but Reign is by far the biggest piece of bull crap that anyone has held a gun to ny head and made me watch. DO NOT WATCH REIGN!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!

This series first caught my eye when I was watching it on cartoon network. The main character, Alexander, has a strange sort of magnetic quality to him. The art itself may not be the most stunning, but the analogies drawn to philosophical viewpoints are brilliant. What I do like about the art is that it breaks free of the usual anime style of depicting body forms. Alexander himself is not easy to relate to, but in the way he conducts himself is powerful, and that power is what charms me about the character. I would suggest this to anyone who likes a good intelligent series that follows its own unique style.

I saw some of this on MTV not long ago. It blew a few gaskests in my brain. If you're into analyzing symbolism... This is for you. All I can say is wow... I want to see them all.

As the history books attempt to undermine the high degree of civilization the ancient world possessed, those indoctrinated as such cannot appreciate this visual masterpiece of extensive study and research. Peter Chung is the MAN.

The graphics are horrible. The story is horrible. The anime is horrible. PERIOD

If you're looking for an anime that's breathtaking and exciting, you definently won't like this one. I'm not saying it's horrible. It has it's moments. If you're not sure, watch Cartoon Network's Adult SWim on Mon-Thurs at 12:00. You might like it, I don't.
